FROM THE GROUND TO THE SKY

Two Day Weekend Workshop for Children

Why Should Children Attend The Camp?

Children are no exception when it comes to the confusions facing the adult world. The fast pace and expectations heaped upon them — from schools, parents, and society — are not making life any easier. Exams, marks, admissions, homework, performance, extra classes, and the race for “excellence” are constant pressures. While mobile phones are useful, their overuse has led to challenges of distraction, loneliness, and disconnection from nature.

In such a scenario, children need a break — a chance to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life, to reconnect with nature, and to rediscover themselves.

Nature connect is the surest remedy for our children.

Coop Forest seeks to sow the seed of empathy towards nature. Awareness about the environment and natural resources nurtures focus and inner calm — helping children build resilience and balance in a fast-changing world.

This camp is designed for the students of Class V- XII

What Would Children Gain From The Workshop?

The basecamp at Coop Forest does not have mobile connectivity. Children will have specific time slots (in designated areas) to speak briefly with parents — but otherwise, it’s a digital detox.

This opens space for:

  • Long Converstaion
  • Deep Observation
  • Hands-on Learning

Although the camp lasts less than two days, the intensity of experience ensures lasting impact.

Children from different schools, towns, and age groups come together — just as biodiversity strengthens a forest, diversity among children enhances learning, empathy, and fun.

They also gain:

  • Practical knowledge of ecology and conservation
  • Confidence through group activities
  • New friendships and teamwork skills
  • A break from their daily routines
  • A sense of belonging to nature
